Devil’s Barrel is produced in partnership with the team from the 17 Rocks Chocolate Factory located in Brisbane Qld and shipped direct to you the customer. The business though is operated out of the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

An amazing independent award winning bean to bar chocolate maker who manufacture single-origin cacao beans from Papua New Guinea and are located at 17 Mile Rocks, Queensland, Australia.

They ethically source all their cacao beans from the volcanic valleys of northern Papua New Guinea and using traditional techniques which preserve the rich nutritional value and full flavour the cacao bean produce amazing craft bars. They are huge on being all natural so no nasty preservatives or additives in any of the bars produced out of the factory. They only use natural flavours and essences, such as freeze-dried fruits, roasted nuts and spices.

We all know even the very best of chocolate is sensitive to temperature and humidity.  As a result, we strongly encourage you to keep it away from sunlight in a cool, dry place with a temperature ranging from 18 to 24°C.

Given the nature of chocolate we only ship these days during the hottest months of the year.

The reason behind this is to ensure your order does not sit in warehouse distribution centers over weekends where it could potential become subject to adverse temperature conditions impacting the quality of your chocolate.

We move fast to dispatch orders so letting us know asap will ensure we can find a solution. So whether, it’s a wrong address or, perhaps you selected the wrong products. Yes, it is. We are proudly 100% Australian Owned with all aspects of production done on-shore.

Due to current global events and remaining in line with best practices for food handling we are unable to exchange products or accept returns unless there is a fault with our product.

However, should you have a concern with the quality of your chocolate, please reach out within 7 days from purchase by emailing: info@devilsbarrel.com.au providing as much detail as possible (including pictures) where possible and we will aim to remedy the issue for you.

All our chocolate is produced in batches with stock from each batch set aside and stored in the event a fault is detected and we need to reference that batch. Once we receive the faulty product, we will move quickly to identify the issue and dispatch replacement stock within 24hrs.

You’ll be glad to know we’re big on customer service and experience. So, if we’ve dropped the ball somewhere along the way in your journey you can rest assured we will do our best to fix it.
